About This Project

Blue Source Canada, a carbon offset developer and marketer contracted IESC to perform the verification of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction project located in Leamington Ontario. The project involved the verification of the GHG emissions reductions calculated by Blue Source Canada as a result of displacement of heat load requirements from fossil fuels with a biomass source along with avoidance of methane emissions in three greenhouses.

The project involved verification of the project report to ensure consistency with ISO 14064-2 and was completed following the requirements of ISO 14064-3 and the GHG program requirements. The project is currently listed on the CSA GHG CleanProjectsTM Registry
