Although any project will start with investigation and research, there are a number of tools that Internat Energy Solutions (IES) have used to assist in the important energy modeling stage of the project.  Along with the commercially developed software that is listed below, IES has developed a number of in-house tools over the years to help with our energy analysis of buildings.

Several of the programs mentioned are specific to the North American Market and are particular to government incentive programs currently offered.  Others are tools that have allowed IES to perform simulation on buildings that have an opportunity to implement renewable energy to the project.  Weather the project be in feasibility, design or retrofit stage, the scope will allow us to determine the accuracy and ultimately the software tools to be used.
